thats completely diffrent. and u know it

@pmgitsdaniel

So if its okay for god to do it you would have no problem with someone blowing up a children’s hospital? After all if god does it surely it must be good?

These kids go to heaven anyway right?

Listen to yourself.

totally agree with this vid

watch?v=y0QedUHQwtU

worth watching wither your religious or not.

tell ya what… you should learn to keep it in historical perspective as well…

I recommend you read Bart Erhman

tried to make himself known by having a guy who believed in him already off his son?

Sorry man… I don’t buy it… it’s incredibly naive to think that that was the only way to get Abrahams attention when god already had it…

As for all the people who died getting a 2nd chance… sorry… that doesnt fly either… you forget that they didn’t believe in Yahweh… and it was before the crucifixion made the loophole for original sin…

Sorry man.. these apologetics are just ludicrous…

the bible is like a school book.
u cant just read it.
u have to study it.

god tried to make himself known.

he tried to show him a bit of his personality.
so abraham would know god would never want anyone to do such a horrid thing.

and as for the pharaoh, all the people who died, they get a 2nd chance in paradise/heaven whatever u wanna call it.
so what do those couple of years matter compared to eternity?
and then again, death is just a sleep

I am sorry tomtom0919 I am not about arguing with people, sincerely I just wanted to put my two cents like we all have the right to do. I do not wish that you or anyone goes to such place like hell. I don’t wanna come across as a self righteous person. If there is a heaven I do pray that I will meet you there.

Those arguments have some truth to them. To understand the deeper portions of the Bible you must have the spirit. 1 Cor. 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, (even) the deep things of God. However, the only part you really need to know is you are saved by your faith. Which anyone can understand. I actually am not surprised at all by the differing views. Problem even in Bible times. 1 Cor. 1:10-17 But the overall theme is widely accepted

it’s a good read… Churchill’s son read it for the first time in a foxhole… and said “this god is a real sh*t”…

Anyway… it’s a good idea to know what the opposition is touting…

read a few versions of it… and I’ve heard all the arguments… some going so far as to say you have to believe in the word before you can understand it…

I find it funny that the word of god has created so many differing points of view on what the word is… don’ t you?

I appreciate you not being confrontational… but… quoting the bible to someone who doesn’t believe it is the word of god… just doesn’t go anywhere…

@chyrd Ahhh, I see. I haven’t read the bible. Thanks for the info. :)

I suggest you read the Bible to obtain understanding of God through His Word and not try to understand the ways of a supreme being through the mind of a mere man. 1 Cor. 18-19: For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. FOR IT IS WRITTEN, I WILL DESTROY THE WISDOM OF THE WISE, AND WILL BRING TO NOTHING THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE PRUDENT. Not trying to be confrontational just helpful. With Love. Take care.

So the god that can harden the heart of Pharaoh in order to bring the plagues and kill the innocents… couldn’t have just made Abraham more trusting of god? It makes no sense… The lesson was “hey I’m god… let’s scare the crap out of your kid”… it should also have been… What kind of god would ask me to sacrifice my own son… Evil bastard

As a father… I could NEVER worship a being that asked me to do that… it’s disgusting.

do you have the passage that says that?

because from what I’ve read… Hell was created FOR the devil and his angels…

AND… being an omniscient being as people say god is… he knew before he created Lucifer… that he would fall… Says in the bible “he knew you before you were born”

Just sayin…

Then why is your holy land a vast wasteland devoid of clean water and land for planting?

God knew he could get Abraham to cut off the end of his penis.

AND DID

no he isn’t my friend , there are few weird people everywhere as in religion as nation ^^
go and read the quran , not on the internet ;)
god bless you

@jcborja This is what happens whenever I try to argue with you people. You just say something along the lines of ” HUR DUR IM GOING TO HEAVEN HAVE FUN IN HELL SINNER LOLLOLLOLLOL” You didn’t even try to argue.

I know i am laughing all the way to heaven, hee haw!!

@jcborja “Satanic”? You’re hilarious.

@chyrd Well, technically you’re wrong, there. According to the bible, one of his angels broke away from his something something and created hell. That’s a massive generalization, but you get the point. He didn’t create him with direct intention of that. (I’m an atheist, just want you to get your facts right.)

i just dont understand how christians blindly worship without even knowing the history of their own religion. its right in front of their eyes

god wanting Abraham to sacrifice his own son was just a lesson for Abraham.

god knew he wouldnt do it.
in the end, it just gave Abraham more trust in god.

And to clear things up, i dont believe that theres 1 true religion.
as long as u are a good person and try to listen to ur conciousness as much as u can, is good enough for god.
