oh yeah and one more thing and probably the most important point… Revelation 22:19 says..And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. corinthian i think u hit the nail square on the head. and this is my opinion, they need 2 keep those slimy words (conservative, liberal) completely apart from Gods word. from my observation, on the governmental levels of this country, the so called “conservatives” havent been 2 “conservative” if u catch my drift. so really they have no reason to say they r any Godly then the liberals. ugh i dont know why i keep using those two words. those same two words have tore this country apart
okay, so let me guess this straight – they’re saying that the same holy book that is the entire basis for Christianity is too liberal, so they’re actually fucking REWRITING IT. So basically they’re a) shitting on everything Christianity is supposed to stand for and b) making it look like they think the Republican Party’s ideas are more important than God’s. Why should a liberal read the bible? There are enough people like you telling us what it says. By the way, is that passage some of the “God loves everyone” stuff I hear it is supposed to be about? I guess that is your idea of testifying. Good job, now I’ll never read it.

Can we leave 2thessalonians 3:6-10 that sums up says “If a man will not work, he shall not eat.” “we were not idle when we were with you, nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. we worked day and night, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. “Do not associate with him, in order that he may feel ashamed. Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother. Maybe liberals should actually read the bible before they think they know what it says.

He’s right, the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John will end up being compressed to a pamphlet and they’d have to throw out pretty much EVERYTHING Jesus said since it was all hippy stuff about helping the needy just because they were needy. I’ll also bet 100 pounds they switch ‘everyone who is not against us is for us’ to ‘everyone who is not for us is against us’
I know how the bible was made. It was hand selected, but the Catholic church is responsible for that 1st bible. The Eastern Orthodox actually has 2 chapters more than the Catholic and the bible was made around the time they seperated, so I guess I really don’t know which one is the original, it’s one of the 2. But I can say that the Catholic church is the most powerful church in the world and goes back to the Apostles, who were men too. The closest to Jesus. I love protestants, I’m just not one.

The ‘first’ Bibles were random collections of writings that had no order or narrative, and came from many, many different sources.
The group of people that would eventually become ‘the church’ decided which documents made the ‘final cut’ of the Bible. If one document contradicted another, they threw it out. So basically, they picked and chose and formed the Bible into whatever they wished it to be.
