It’s funny how Job just wants answers, like “Why did this happen to me? I’ve been good. I did everything right.” And when God shows up, he basically says, “You want to fight, asshole? You will never understand me and why I do what I do. You just have to live with whatever happens to you.”
Of course, if God had told Job that all this is happening to him because of a bet w/ Satan, the moral of the story may have been a little different.
Like I said America is not the soceity I envision. America is slowing but surely (economically speaking) killing itself. Mixed economy is not be no means of the imagination real capitalism. You and your christian god had played you for the fool you are. That scheming egoist oppertunist, the parastic abstract you worship. Speaking through your end he gave birth to the cycle of pain, through neglagence. To give you the illusion of free will and tell you to obey is cruelly beautiful.
I know that all too well. America isn’t the society I envision. To be fair America with all the power its obtained can’t break the cycle of pain. Death is not an enemy we all die. Its a natural and can even be considered beatiful by the way it works. Cruel in sitution or war but peaceful and releaving if natural. Unfortunately you’ll think its nonsense because you and all your religion is bounded together by hatred.
@fhe4io this reasoning still doesn’t wash. the ultimate burden of responsibility is on god. if i see a man trying to kill another man, even if i hate the other man, i am still inculpated in his murder if i do not try to stop the killing.

PS: an indictment to the stupidity of man: they want to spell inifinate with and i. The acidic with the self in it, the “I”, as opposed to the alkaline with the “a” in it as in “atypical”. The Bible is an interactive document. The verses and statements link together in infinate ways to form an infinate source of information. Things from the book of Job go with things from other sections of the Bible and could even give you answers to your own personal problems. Ultimate solutions for any problem that exists.

The “S” guy kills whomever he wants unless they are under God’s protection. Job’s kids obviously refused the protection of God because, as you can read in the actual passage, not the goon’s version, they were into idolatry and their tin-pan-alley demon-impersonated gods couldn’t protect them.

It was a total shock to me, All I was really doing was trying to sell an underground newspaper I wrote on economics around the USA one summer, and along with it, I was following up on a secondary project based on a prophecy I had gotten in Samoa.
So let me understand this Job story. Here’s what I get from this story. God allows Satan to kill all of Job’s kids only to prove that Job will love God no matter what. God is a prick in this story. What an asshole.
