Science need upgradation n most of the scientific theories r keep on changing from 1 conclusion to another. But Bible never changed ever since its written and it give Hope to lead a life according to God’s will. If People not properly following it don’t spoils its purity or authority. Its the word of God given to mankind to know what God done to save human from his sinful nature. BUT as I realize from Bible I know many things which need 2 happen in future. If any1 need to know that let me know.

I’m always told that the Founding Fathers of the United States of America were secularists, and that USA is an secularistic country. So where does all this “One nation under God”, “In God we trust” stuff come in…?

12lipa~ You asked who created the ‘Creator’??

Using my premise– As a creator is more powerful that I can comprehend, I belief the Creator can only be revealed if one Believes first There Is a Creator! From that premise, hopefully you will seek your own answer to whether we are suppose to know everything!

To believe in a billion years of sudden change.. then you would have to believe in the Creator of that Theory! You would have full assurance into a Theory of Chance! I believe Gods Way!

    you are 100 % correct AgnosticMaverick09
    ..

  5. AgnosticMaverick09

This is insane… Human arrogance at it’s finest. Politics and religion have never mixed and never should. That’s how wars are started. Oh yeah and for all of you “God bless America” people out there: our OWN FOUNDING FATHERS were against organized religion in the US. Especially Thomas Jefferson who once quoted, “Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man.” What you’re seeing above you is PURE CHRISTIANLY ARROGANCE. Don’t try to rationalize it as something else.

  6. 12lipa

Seywah, I’ll use your premise to answer your your question. You said “their existance is impossible without a creator! ” My question, using your premise, “then who created the creator?” If, you say the creator is already there, then using your premise again, I can say that, all the basic elements were already there and it took billions of years for these elements to evolve in it’s present form.

mjr256, I posted my comment in support of your stand. I myself don’t believe in god portrayed in the Bible. why else will he destroy all his creation (except Noah and his family)?
Maybe he made a mistake with his first attempt with Adam & Eve, and tried again with Noah? If he did, then he only made it worst. Now we can kill each other in 100s of thousand with just a single bomb

  8. txmacman

13 billion years old. Check out the writings of Hugh Ross. The man of the bible was created later.

  9. txmacman

There are several beliefs on the writings of Genesis. One is that the world was created in 7 literal days. This is losing support. The most likely interpretation is that God created the world with the big bang about 13 billion years ago. Most scientists agree that the universe is expanding and that something created this event. Although the universe is 13 billion years old, MAN was created in the garden of Eden between 10,000 and 50,000 years ago.

12lipa, I don’t think you replied to the right person or maybe you just didn’t read the full comment. I did reference Mark 13:2, but only in the context of blblical criticism. The aptly named
apologiaman was the one arguing that the bible was true; I was offering my rebuttal.

  11. 12lipa

The writings of Josephus in his Antiquities is now accepted by all eminent scholars as forgeries (search any secular encyclopedias). And the writings of Tacitus refers to Christians a group of people, and not of a man called Jesus. “Christ” is a title meaning the Annointed.

  12. 12lipa

You mentioned Mark 13;2; My question, why would I believe a book written thousand of years ago written by an anonymous writer. Watch youtube :Who wrote the Bible.

  13. Seywah

    12lipa~ Imagine a Building w/o a architec; a painting w/o an artist.

Ok, the answer is There is a God!Nothing that I’ve discribed makes sense because their existance is impossible without a creator! Your existance would be impossible with a Creator!

The Bible says: In the beginning God created the Heavens & the Earth! He fashion Man after his own image. God looked at all he made & said ‘It was good!
Poor Creator- Chk out ‘beautiful nature’!

What is flat? Mans understanding of God!

  14. Seywah

Brick111~ Who do you know thats Godly, that’s force religion/God on you? Your in need of a truth transformation Now!! And which followers are out there forcing God on anyone You know!!

Christianity in its purest form is the thing that’s holding the USA strong.

Since lowering the standards on morality in the USA I have seen a sudden decline in the posperity of the US. It’s undergone quite a few deadly blows on its Character!

As John Lennon sings: ‘Imagine if there was no heaven?’

  15. 12lipa

the word “neighbor” only refers to fellow-Hebrews. If it’s Universal, then why the brutal killings?

Hitler was loved by the Germans (neighbors) during his time.

  16. 12lipa

If god really exists, then he must be a poor Creator that he have to destroy his creations in the Great Deluge, And what followed is still not good enough.

If the Bible is the word of God, then Earth must be flat.

  17. Simoncanada

    simple answer… helll noooo

  18. shitbrick1111111111

obviously you missed my sarcasm. i dont believe in god. what im saying is in your private life you can worship whatever or whoever you want to but when it comes to making logical political decisions they shouldnt be based on a mythical being or dogmatic belief system.
and you are correct. god hasnt forced himself on me. but his followers sure have. throughout time they have forced god onto ppl. at least they dont kill thenonbelievers these days though. lol

  19. Seywah

    Brick11!~
What do you think you inhabitors on this planet have been doing for the last 50 years?

Which person do you know personally who has totally following what God has prescribed as living holy? Ok, Then!

Don’t blame this corupted part of your life on God! You’ve always been in charge of your own life. After all you have probably never given your life to him.

Being a ‘Christ’-ian is the most challenging aspect of my life, yet very rewarding.

God hasn’t force himself on You!

  20. shitbrick1111111111

i think god has had enough chances. its time we as the inhabitors of this planet take our lives into our own hands and create our own destiny. not leave it up to an invisible bully in the sky and his divine plan. lol

  21. rudeplatypus

I think politics and religion should have nothing to do with each other.

  22. Izzmonster

“Love your neighbor as you love yourself”? wtf? What if your neighbor was Hitler?

  23. executionerofgod

damn. and these are the ppl who run our cities and our country.

  24. PKwinsomee
