@awm878 I heard that this audio is from Keller’s message given at The Gospel Coalition conference of 2007. You should be able to find it in the TGC Podcast page on iTunes; I looked quickly but couldn’t find an obvious link on the TGC web page…
Does anyone know where the audio originally comes from? I almost feel like I’ve heard it before, or some of it. Was it a message at Together for the Gospel?
@reydelfuegobpa, Keller didn’t say it’s ONLY about Jesus, but BASICALLY. His message is a balance to the tendency we ALL have to think that salvation is self-improvement and the Bible is a moral self-help book with examples to follow. If that is all we see in the Bible, we turn the Christian faith from a gospel back into a law.
So the Bible is not about me,and the way I should live my life to be a better person? So,if its only about Jesus let me keep on and continue sinning since there is no salvation for me then. This Man is a nut and all of those whom follow him are just or more crazier than what he is. Sorry my friend but the Bible its about me.and of course about Jesus Christ also.
Thanks i enjoyed that. Yeah i love jesus son of mary may the peace and mercy of allah be upon our king of kings the first bridge home or first revolutionary messiah but while is lots about him and other prophets in bible and qurañ it is a lot to do with all believer too. Blessed be

The Bible is heresy. It a compilation of legends or outright fiction.

The bible is basically about how sinful man can aquire fellowship and union of sorts, with a holy God, where on the cross, justice and mercy kissed, in the person of Jesus. Christ’s receiving & refuse him are consigned to hell, and a small portion of others who recognise their sin and seperation from a holy God; mourn their lost-ness. So, they repent and believe & enter into Jesus’ death/resurrection spiritually via faith

This video is awesome! Well done. I have sent it to many friends and family. And have personally watched it multiple times to remind me. I first saw it in our chapel service at Philadelphia Biblical University.

So what I am telling is that its about us, since it is for our salvation AND it is about our Lord through whom we receive salvation. If we dint have to be saved, then there was no need for our Lord to suffer for us. So it is both about Him and about us. For the Lord’s passion does not make sense if it wasn’t for us. would it ?

Wrong. The Bible is salvation history. Its neither just about you or about Jesus. Its about a loving God reaching out to his creation to save them.
